This historical Beaux-Arts landmark and treasure has graced the city for years. It’s been said that one can’t reproduce the history of this hotel anywhere else, so after a substantial and long-lived reconstruction … a serious luxury lifestyle hotel was unveiled. What an honor to be a part of this captured old-world project by Gabellini Sheppard Associates.
Guests relax in style with the era of the early 1900’s still alive in the bones of this phenomenal structure but with a refined, sophisticated rebirth and energy. Much has changed, especially within the guests suites of this hotel.
TCS was commissioned to design custom stainless steel surface mounted “L” handles for the interior sliding glass doors leading into the ensuite bath. Yet again a minimalist, highly effective and efficient approach to operating a sliding door. Coupled with our first generation Auto-Patch® hydraulic patch pivot, the guest rooms received a posh, revitalized look and feel – bringing history into the modern age.
