Glass Door Hardware for Hospitality Living
In Florida, in particular south Florida, views are the pièce de résistance to every build-out. And why not, whether water view or city view – the sites are spectacular. But it’s more than just what you see and experience when you look out upon the grand vistas, interior glass concepts play a significant role in bringing the outside in.
It was an exciting opportunity to work on such a high profile hospitality project such as this. No expense was spared in the overall interior finishes, and even though our architectural hardware played a smaller role in the scope of the overall project, it was no less significant and to the architect, a necessary show stopper.
For this exquisite boutique hotel TCS was proud to not only up-fit each guest bath and ensuite with our glass hinges for all shower doors and tub partition walls, but custom sliding door systems for the entry ways into these luxurious bathing spaces.
On some of the floor plans, a guest entering their room would be torn between the view of the water or an immediate view of the gorgeous frosted glass door systems effortlessly gliding along the massive wall. What a contender?!
Our custom PureGlass® 90 provided energy, ambiance and absolute function to the living and bathing spaces. Being a hi-trafficked property with heavy turn-over of hotel guests, we diligently worked with the project’s designer to spearhead safety concerns to create a “framed” glass door approach to guard and protect the visible glass edges from abuse and wear-and-tear.
With our glass hinges, they say that the best things come in smaller packages – our minimalistic approach to hinge hardware allows the glass and the views hence forth to be the focal point, while providing the modern edge and look high designed projects are in search of.
