Moments That Matter: Building a Thriving Culture in a Hybrid World

Sharing

In 2021, T Concepts®, like all of us, had a lot to consider on the cusp of healing and rebounding from the Global pandemic. Acknowledgment of the blessing of being on the other side; our team safe, clients thankfully still present, and our lights on … but then what? Permanently transformed, grappling with uncertainty, how were we to navigate this new, unknown world? As leaders and creators, we understood we had to look outside ourselves and find meaning, mentoring, and nurturing to rebuild our foundation and unlock a new culture. Whilst preparing for a new era, altogether.

Launched into our orbit comes Chris Dyer, and our world existentially changed.

Unveiling strategies to build thriving, cohesive workplace cultures, Chris Dyer is an internationally recognized leadership speaker, company culture, and remote work expert. As a former CEO managing thousands of people, his companies were consistently named ‘the best place to work’. They have also been named a fastest-growing company by Inc Magazine 5 times. Chris is the best-selling author of The Power of Company Culture and Remote Work, and has been named #5 on The Leadershum Power List, a Top 50 Voice in leadership, a Top 40 Change Management Guru, a Top 50 Global Thought Leader, and a Top 50 leadership podcast.

T Concepts® doesn't just make beautiful products. They build the kind of company people want to be part of. What impressed me most was their courage. They chose to slow down during one of the most challenging yet fastest periods of their history and ask the hard questions. About culture. About alignment.”

— Chris Dyer

At T Concepts®, our ethos is built on the power of connection and relationships. We are thrilled to share that our friend, colleague and past T Concepts® Culture Catalyst, Chris, has released a new book, (Moments That Matter). In it, he reveals why leaders often miss pivotal moments and provides a practical framework for identifying them before they pass. This book is a vital guide to showing up fully when the stakes demand it. We're sharing this because our relationship with Chris reflects something we believe deeply. Success isn't just about a superior product. It's about the people behind it. The culture they build. And the moments that shape who you become as a company. The triumphs and setbacks. The victories and defeats, the accomplishments and the hardships.

Chris worked alongside us during one of the biggest chapters in our company's history, a metamorphosis. Post pandemic we found ourselves embracing a hybrid corporate environment, expanding our supply chain, embarking on a rebrand, and evolving our leadership. Everything was changing at once.

Chris helped us do something counterintuitive to some, yet awakening to us: slow down in the middle of it all. He challenged us to get honest about our culture, our alignment, and our people. The work ranged from one-on-one coaching to group training on value-based business ethos, leading an annual company retreat with forest bathing and friendly competition. Trust building exercises which physically and emotionally inspired our team to reach outside ourselves, during a period when every decision felt like it carried real weight. Tough calls were made. Big changes happened. And we did it all with transparency, authenticity, and a splash of fun. His new book, Moments That Matter, captures that exact idea. Not every moment carries the same weight. The leaders and teams that learn to recognize the moments that matter most, and show up for them fully, are the ones that transform.
